Day 275
My affairs and acting out behaviors were exactly this; seeking liberty in places that took away freedom, seeking comfort in situations that caused pain, and seeking companionship in relations that both created and required isolation. The contradictions of this illness are high and mighty, as well as rock bottom and useless. With 275 days of sobriety, I am still hungover, but less today than yesterday.
