Day 281
Once I committed to the 12 Steps, one of my first questions in getting ahead of myself was,
"To whom will I make amends?".
My family is already involved in my recovery, and the people with whom I've misbehaved are not candidates for any sort of contact from me. There are a few people, very few, that could make the list from my acting out years ago, but that is not clear as a possibility. I try to set this aside, to wait for the process of the steps to speak into this, but it's a continuing thought process that I'm both eager to complete and frightened at the possibilities of getting wrong. "...and grant me the wisdom..."
